California I

A B O U T

Originally featured in Sunset Magazine in 1985, this California kitchen was once the pinnacle of style. But as time marches on, design trends evolve without hesitation. Nearly forty years later, we had the opportunity to give this space the much-needed update it deserved, bringing it back to life in a fresh, modern way.

California I

This design breathes a quiet reverence for both form and function. Featuring hand-laid tiled ceilings that ripple with subtle texture, and reeded walnut cabinetry that stretches across the space inviting you to trace your fingers over the surface – every inch of this space speaks to restraint. No element screams for attention but, rather, hums in harmony. In the end, California I isn’t just a kitchen; it’s a revitalized showstopper, brought back to life with modern sensibility and layers of thoughtfulness, inviting a new chapter of timeless elegance.
